Postado em 10/06/2022

Alchemia Japan Italian label Wormholedeath, which had made the physical version of Alchemia’s debut album “Inception” available in Europe, has now released it in the Japanese market through its subsidiary, Wormholedeath Records Japan. “The album ‘Inception’ is having excellent repercussion in Brazil and around the world! We received positive reviews in many vehicles and it is curious that the scope of our sound, which we classify as horror metal, is diverse, as we have received praise from black metal fans , gothic, traditional heavy, power metal… In fact, our sound had already arrived in Japan, but now, with the release of the physical version by Wormholedeath Records Japan, we will have more visibility and reach in the Asian market”, commented the vocalist Victor Hugo Piiroja.

In addition, Alchemia will start the “Inception Tour 2022/2023” on July 22 at Bar Opinião, in Porto Alegre (RS), playing alongside HIBRIA. “We are excited for the events to return and we have prepared a special show for the start of the tour, together with our brothers from HIBRIA! The tour, which will start in Porto Alegre and will pass through several cities in Brazil, will continue to Europe in December, when we will play at Germany, France, Belgium, Holland, Poland and the Czech Republic”, revealed the singer. “We want to play and be in direct contact with the public, taking Alchemia’s music to every corner possible,” he added.

Alchemia also scheduled for the month of July the release of a new music video, “Ashes”, the second single from the repertoire of “Inception”. “We are rehearsing a lot, working on all the band’s issues for dissemination. In addition, the band’s musicians are doing side jobs that take the name Alchemia to other audiences. Recently, our drummer, Alex Cristopher, participated in the live of the documentary channel about Andre Matos and played with the guys from Angra and Viper”, said Piiroja.

The album “Inception” was recorded at Fusão and Carbonos studios, with production by Piiroja, in collaboration with Ricardo Campos (Sunseth Midnight), who produced the vocals. Mixing and mastering were handled by renowned Danish producer and audio engineer Tue Madsen. The repertoire features dramatic symphonic elements and haunting Gothic synthesizers, arranged and expanded upon by British composer Jon Phipps, who has created virtual orchestrations for Moonspell, Amorphis, Angra and Dragonforce. “We have a lot of influences on ‘Inception’, from heavy metal, black metal, death metal, film scores and classical orchestration. At the same time, it has its own identity”, concluded Piiroja.
